There is more than one way to win on Routesgame.com. Registered players can play for a weekly prize (if you're in it for the short term), or play the long game for a chance at the bonus prize.

There are lots of ways for a dedicated player to pick up extra points as you play Routes - for example by watching videos, filling out your profile, and replaying games to improve your old high scores. Read the faq for full details on how to pick up bonus points each week.
You have between 7pm on 26th January 2009 and midday on 23rd March 2009 to play for the bonus prize. The winner will be drawn at random from the top 100 overall high scores, will be notified by email and will have 48 hours to respond

By registering and playing Routes you are automatically entered into a competition to feature in the finale of the game. Those players who've found the mystery at the heart of Routes, are in with a chance to win the star prize. What are we looking for? Players who've helped with the investigation, befriended Matt and Rachel, and are actively on the case on websites across the web. Would your sleuthing have made Markus proud? If the answer to that question is yes, then maybe you'll be one of the chosen few, who will help to solve this mystery for good.

THE FINALE OF ROUTES!
If you've been following the mystery of Markus Schoenberg's death you'll be familiar with Rachel and Matt.
Just before the end of the game, we picked out five Routes players as our Star Prize winners. They got to come down to London and take part in the finale: a raid on the Prometha Lab.
